“We were hoping our mom could stay in her home, but found it an impossible task. After searching numerous facilities, we were happy to meet Rachel. Aspen Ridge felt like home the minute we walked through the door. Our mom’s room was beautiful, with a view of the mountains. Wonderful, delicious meals and desserts accompanied by friendly hosts with smiles and stories shared. The staff who cared for mom are outstanding men and women. Help was always close by, concerns were dealt with quickly, however, there was always a moment for them to talk with her. She enjoyed getting to know them all. Getting to know other residents was a pleasure. Seeing them each day as they enjoyed never ending activities and movies, they became friends. “After visiting other facilities my wife and I stumbled upon Aspen Ridge which had recently opened. During our initial visit we were offered a tour of the facility by Rachel Whitmarsh. Our first impression stood out because of how clean and well-kept the building was. Additionally, we were pleasantly surprised on our walkthrough that there were not the typical “assisted living” odors. Upon our initial visit our feelings were instinctive. They were very positive and quite encouraging. After touring with Rachel, we made the decision to have my dad stay at Aspen Ridge, one month turned into almost a year. Throughout this time the staff cared for him with the utmost kindness, respect and support. Each team member from food service to the janitorial services, nurses, CNA’s, med techs, front desk, Josh, Britteny, Rachel, Brad and many others would help him in any way they could. They simply made his life at Aspen Ridge as pleasant as possible. The daily acts of kindness helped him, and as our family witnessed this level of care it warmed our hearts.
